Chelsea’s dream midfield for next season including £32m-rated midfielder

There is no denying that Chelsea had an absolute shocker of a season this year.

Chelsea’s 10th place finish is the worst title defence in Premier League history.

The Blues scored a respectable 59 goals but conceded an appalling 53! Chelsea lost 12 matches this term, four times as many as the previous season.

Antonio Conte has been appointed as Chelsea’s manager for next season and the Italian surely knows that changes must be made.

The Chelsea fans at the Transfer Tavern have been drinking their sorrows away over recent months, the beer sales were at an all time high when the news came through that Mourinho would be managing Manchester United next season.

The Chelsea players certainly have the quality to regain a position in the top four or maybe even win the title next year, but after the dreadful season this year, Chelsea definitely need some replacements.

The boys in the Tavern have created a DREAM Chelsea midfield for next season….

Willian

Willian Hazard

Willian was perhaps the only Chelsea player who didn’t go missing this year.

The Brazilian scored 11 goals this season and grabbed 10 assists.

The crazy haired skiller has 6 goals for his national side too and has plenty to offer to the Chelsea side.

The 27-year-old definitely deserves to keep his place in the team at Stamford Bridge and the Chelsea fans hiding in the corner of the Tavern would hate to see their star leave.

Willian is quick, skilful and can score and assist, there is no reason to replace him and Conte surely knows that by now.

Radja Nainggolan

According to the Telegraph, Antonio Conte is a big fan of the Roma midfielder.

The Belgian grabbed 6 goals and 2 assist in Italy this season and was an integral part of the midfield in Rome.

It seems Chelsea would have to cough up at least £32 million for his services but money isn’t a problem for Roman Abramovich.

Cesc Fabregas

It did seem like Fabregas had spent too much time at the Tavern this season.

The Spanish midfielder claimed just 9 assists this term, 15 shy of his previous years total.

Fabregas is 3 away from 100 Premier League assists and will surely reach the landmark next season.

The 29-year-old has over 100 caps for Spain and on his day, it is easy to see why.

Eden Hazard

Last but not least, Eden Hazard.

There are few players in the world that are as technically gifted as the Belgian.

Hazard is without a doubt, one of the best players on the planet but unfortunately, he seemed to just go missing this season.

The 25-year-old is the Belgian national side’s captain.

Hazard has 55 goals and 55 assists for Chelsea and the skilful winger will surely add to his tally if Conte can keep him at the club.
