Liverpool’s Pedro Chirivella has seen his stock rise this year.
Some Reds fans may have forgotten who he even was before this season, with his last appearances for the club coming during the 2015/16 campaign. However, in 2019/20 he has featured heavily in the cup competitions and he even captained the side against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

His contract is set to run out at the end of this campaign and there have been rumours of interest from the likes of Nantes and Glasgow Rangers. However, Neil Jones of Goal.com has revealed that the 22-year-old is still to decide on his future and he has a five-year contract on the table from Liverpool.

Oh come on, a couple of decent performances in the fa cup doesn’t warrant a 5 yr contract extension.. have we learnt nothing after giving origi one last summer ?

Yes offer Lallana a contract extension worth £125k/week and then cry about not having money for Werner. My God. This club does my head in at times. Just get rid of guys who just make up squad numbers and get the German in.
