Some players have it in them to turn things around when they’re up against it, and Christian Atsu is one of them. The Ghanian winger has been one who came in for plenty of criticism during the Geordies’ winless run at the start of the season, but lately he’s shone as one of their top performers.

Atsu provides something invaluable to Newcastle United. The winger has pace to burn and his ability in a one vs one situation is something to be treasured. The unpredictability of the ex-Chelsea man is something special, the only thing he needs now is some end-product and he’d be a real asset, not to mention add a few zeroes on the end of his price tag.
At the moment, though, there aren’t many Newcastle fans thinking about selling him, as he continues to dazzle for them in ways they didn’t believe he could a few weeks back. Next up for Atsu and Newcastle is to welcome Manchester United to St James Park, and if the 26-year-old can be at his sparkling best and add some end product then there’s no reason why he can’t inspire his side to a famous win.
