It has been a hard-fought start to the season for the Blues, and whilst the games are showing no sign of slowing down, their clash against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening will, for many, be a night off.
With so many competitions on the horizon, the Carabao Cup is going to take a back seat in the grand scheme of things. Chelsea will still want to win the game, of course, but the Champions League is back next week, whilst another big game awaits the Blues at the weekend.
As a result, a few fringe players could be given a chance, and one player that looks certain to feature is Charly Musonda. Conte confirmed as much in his pre-match press conference, leading to a slew of cheers in the Transfer Tavern.
