Confirmed: Leeds United reach agreement fans have been waiting for

Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been due some good news and they look set to get it as the club have announced some huge developments.

The Whites confirmed on their official website that Tom Pearce has committed his future to the club and has agreed to a new deal with the Elland Road outfit and has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal, lasting until the end of the 2022 summer.

The defender has been attracting a number of interest from Premier League clubs, such as Crystal Palace and Bournemouth in recent weeks, however, the Championship outfit have convinced him to stay with them.

The fans in the Tavern will be delighted to hear that Pearce has signed a new long-term contract with the club and will be hoping he can continue to develop into a quality player.

Pearce made a breakthrough into the first-team and made five appearances and is thought to be in contention to make the right-back position his own next year.
