The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side to beat Everton on Sunday…
It’s been a mixed start to the season for the Blues, with defeat against Burnley on the opening day really generating a bit of concern amongst supporters. Some have deemed their win against Tottenham on Sunday a fluke, and so a win against the Toffees would certainly put down a marker.
Ahead of the game, Antonio Conte has delivered a hugely positive news update, giving Chelsea the best possible preparation for the game. Conte has revealed that, other than Eden Hazard, Chelsea have no injury concerns as they prepare to face the Toffees on Sunday afternoon.
Conte says everyone bar Hazard is fit and available for Everton on Sunday.

This is, of course, huge news for the Blues – with a number of injury problems plaguing the start of their season. The most notable of these was surrounding Tiemoue Bakayoko, who had to make his debut in difficult circumstances against Tottenham last weekend – despite not being fully fit.
He appears to have gotten through that game unscathed, which is great for Chelsea, and could return to the side once again on Sunday. Elsewhere, Pedro – who has been struggling with an injury this season – also appears ready to feature once more. He came off the bench against Tottenham, but he clearly wasn’t fully fit.
That’ll give Conte more than a few choices to make this weekend, which is important given the lack of options that he has had so far this year.
Landlord’s Verdict
Tiemoue Bakayoko’s fitness is key, as he looked really good at Tottenham. There was certainly a fear that he could have worsened his fitness by playing through the pain barrier, but he appears to have made it through unscathed.
Eden Hazard’s lack of fitness is certainly frustrating, but his return appears to be edging closer.
Chelsea are in a perfect spot to nab a win against Everton.
