‘Conte out’ - Chelsea fans aren’t happy in build-up to Southampton clash

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t looking forward to their side’s next Premier League clash. After a defeat and a draw in their last two Premier League games, optimism is at an all-time low.

Unfortunately, though, such is life in the English top flight, the games are going to keep on coming for Chelsea, and next up is a trip to Southampton on Saturday.

The Saints haven’t been at their best this season, but the Premier League is unpredictable and given their current position, Chelsea have extra incentive to be concerned. They’re battling relegation, and so every point they can get will be important for them.

Given that Chelsea have struggled against teams up and down the league, it’s difficult to predict just how they will perform this weekend.

It will come as no surprise, then, to hear that the Chelsea fans over on Twitter aren’t feeling too confident ahead of the game.

Chelsea recently shared an image over on their Twitter page building up to the game with Southampton, and the responses have been unanimously negative.

Unfortunately, it’s Antonio Conte that is receiving the brunt of the criticism, with fans calling for the Italian to get sacked. It’s fair to say that the reaction is already very negative, so our landlord isn’t looking forward to what might be said if the Blues don’t get three points…
