Chelsea manager Antonio Conte’s style of management has delighted the Blues in the Transfer Tavern this season…
In the league, the Italian has largely opted to utilise a full strength squad – whilst domestic cup competition has served as a means of getting the Blues’ whole squad involved on a regular basis.
It is a system that has worked so far, with the Blues set to take compete in yet another FA Cup quarter-final next week.
However, it seems as though Chelsea are set to revert back to basics for their next FA Cup clash against Man Utd, with the Sun reporting that Conte is to pick a full strength team for the outing, with the likes of Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa set to take centre stage.
This certainly speaks highly of Conte’s ambition, with the Italian seemingly not happy to just win a Premier League this season, but rather focus on securing another FA Cup win, too.
The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have questioned this report, though, with many hoping that the Italian will instead opt to carry on playing a few young players. After all, those players have gotten him to this point so far, and the Blues in the pub think that they should be trusted to bring their side to Wembley, too.
The game will be significant for a number of reasons, with Chelsea keen to secure progression in the competition, whilst Mourinho will be looking to do the same – whilst also securing a win against the side that sacked him last season.
