‘Conte should be sacked’ – Chelsea fans in outrage following journalist’s report on Twitter

The resident Blues in the Transfer Tavern are becoming increasingly frustrated by their club’s transfer policy this season, and the latest reports regarding Charly Musonda have further intensified those feelings.

Antonio Conte has spent the majority of the season lamenting the lack of depth within his squad, and his media comments have earned him plenty of criticism from fans and pundits alike. The main contention the supporters have with Conte’s argument is that Chelsea have an array of young talent at their disposal, but the majority are currently playing their trade on loan elsewhere. Such players include Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kurt Zouma, Tammy Abraham and Lewis Baker, and Chelsea could be set to add Charly Musonda to that list very shortly.

According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur who currently works for Het Laatste Nieuws, 13th placed La Liga side Leganes are interested in signing the highly-rated Chelsea youngster on loan this month.

Considering Conte’s consistent complaints regarding the size of his squad and the fact Musonda has rarely been played this season, it is understandable that the Chelsea supporters have vented plenty of frustration on Twitter in response to the report from Terreur.

And the supporters are also concerned by his links with La Liga, as they would prefer Musonda to play his trade in the English top-flight if he is to move anywhere.

Here’s what the fans had to say in response to reports that Charly Musonda could be allowed to temporarily leave Stamford Bridge this month…
