Conte should turn to these 2 Chelsea wonderkids to help turn his season around – agreed?

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager for Antonio Conte to change things up at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been on a poor run of form, and it’s pretty clear that something has to give.

Clearly, his squad isn’t quite as good as it needs to be. Several players are underperforming, and a number of individuals simply don’t look good enough. As such, perhaps the Italian manager needs to look outside of his usual selection pool.

More specifically, perhaps it’s time for Conte to look at Chelsea’s young players. Some of them have been winning games and trophies for the best part of half a decade, yet very few of them have had their chance at the highest level.

That’s something that needs to change, and at Stamford Bridge currently, there are a handful of youngster that are dying to get an opportunity in the first team. They could provide the edge and spark and the Blues really need to kick on and perform.

With that said, Conte should turn to these 2 Chelsea wonderkids to turn help his season around – agreed?

 Callum Hudson-Odoi

Callum Hudson-Odoi has shown in glimpses just what he is capable, but it’s time for Conte to give him a more prominent role.

He provides electric pace, brilliant technique and fantastic dribbling, and his positivity is something that a few of his teammates could learn from.

Far too often, Chelsea’s attackers look to slow down play and pass sideways. Hudson-Odoi, meanwhile, is always positive and always eager to move the ball forward, and that in turn affects the speed in which Chelsea play.

They need more urgency, and he would provide it.

 Ethan Ampadu

Ethan Ampadu has proven on more than one occasion that he is ready for a starting berth.

Be it by barking orders to the seasoned veterans around him or by putting in assured performances in a variety of positions, the Welshman looks ready to take his development to the next level.

His arrival in the first team, be it as a defender or midfielder, could be huge for Conte. He could replace Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has struggled this term, and make a real impact, or he could slot in at the back in place of David Luiz or Gary Cahill.

Ampadu is a star in the making, and Conte must recognise that.
