The Crystal Palace fans are feeling apprehensive about their chances of remaining in the top-flight this season, but they believe they should have enough quality within their squad to ensure survival.
After enduring a torrid opening to the season, it appears that The Eagles will slowly move clear of the relegation zone this season under the leadership of Roy Hodgson. The fact that they have only lost 2 out of their last 15 matches – both against Arsenal – proves that they have been vastly improved in recent weeks, but they still remain just 3 points clear from safety with 12 fixtures left to play.
Considering the quality within Palace’s squad, they should have more than enough about them to retain their Premier League status, however, a mini injury crisis at a crucial moment could be enough to derail their season.
With that in mind, a section of The Eagles faithful have been podnering the potential signing of a free agent to bolster Hodgson’s first-team options, and one player who appears to be tickling the fancy of plenty of supporters is Samir Nasri (valued at £9 million by Transfermarkt).
Nasri was recently released from his contract at Turkish club Antaylaspor, and he is now available to join a Premier League club at any given moment in the season.
The Palace supporters have taken note of the availability of the former Manchester City and Arsenal employee and they have urged the club to bring him to Selhurst Park in the near future to add another creative dynamic to their midfield.
