Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get going for the new season as they hope they can finally achieve promotion.
The Owls, of course, had another tough time of things in the play-offs as they were beaten by Huddersfield in the semi-finals but there is hope they can make like Brighton and keep going until promotion is achieved.
For sure, then, the club needs to be looking to bring in some key additions to help them get over the line whilst there is also growing calls for George Hirst to be involved more.
The young striker has been tearing things up at the younger levels as well as for England – helping them to get to the final of the Toulon Tournament.
Indeed, he tweeted about that fact recently and fans were certainly quick to react – the best of which can be read below:
