Plenty of Crystal Palace fans have responded on Twitter to thanks from Vicente Guaita after he was awarded the club’s Player of the Month award.
The shot-stopper wrote “Thanks EAGLES” after he was voted for by fans as the outstanding candidate for the accolade.

It was a pretty difficult month for the South London club as they had a tough run of fixtures. It began with a 2-0 loss to Leicester, before two more losses to Chelsea and Liverpool, before finishing it on a high with a clean sheet win at Turf Moor on the weekend.
So far this season, the Spaniard has recorded a 6.68/10 rating on WhoScored for his 12 performances – the 10th highest average in the squad.
Many fans responded to the thanks from Guaita with their positive messages. One even said he was the best since Nigel Martyn.
