Crystal Palace signed Nathan Ferguson from West Bromwich Albion in the summer, but the player is currently recovering from surgery. This has meant he has not yet featured for the South London side.
However, the club posted an image of the player on the training pitch, with the caption “Keep going”. Fans of the South London side have not seen too many pictures like this so it could suggest he is close to being available for selection. Clearly a lot of the Selhurst Park faithful are excited and believe he will add some good quality. One supporter hailed him as a ‘beast’.
He is only 19 years-old and already showed the great potential he has when he played in the Championship last season. The defender managed 2.4 tackles and 1.7 clearances on average per game, via WhoScored.
With Ferguson’s age and potential, it definitely looks like he was signed as a player for the future at the club, and with the current success of fellow summer signing Eberechi Eze, supporters will be hoping the defender follows suit when he is fit to play.
