While the transfer window in the Premier League is closed, clubs are still able to sign free agents, and one club who could be looking to do so is Crystal Palace.
According to L’Equipe (via Get French Football News), the Eagles are in talks over the possible re-signing of Bakary Sako.
Sako’s contract at Selhurst Park expired in the summer with the 30-year-old leaving the club after three seasons having initially joined from Wolves back in 2015.
Looking at Crystal Palace’s squad, manager Roy Hodgson could definitely do with another left-sided player or just another forward in general.
With Wilfred Zaha having taken up a very advanced role up the pitch, Jeffrey Schlupp is the only real other option Hodgson has to play in front of left-back Patrick Van Aanholt.
Compared to Schlupp, £4.5m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Sako could offer Crystal Palace a little bit more going forward or come in as an alternative to the misfiring Christian Benteke.
Have a look at what Crystal Palace supporters are saying on Sako below…

Happy with that if its true. We made him an offer and he turned it down as he felt the money was too low. He’s not got anything else so happy for him to come back. It may mean that the club don’t think Ayew is going to work out! Or that Wickham is never going to make it back!
