Many Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the news that the South London side are interested in Bundesliga defender Ozan Kabak.
According to The Daily Mail and tweeted out by @cpfc_xtra, Palace have joined the list of clubs to have enquired about Schalke centre-back Kabak. Manchester United, Leicester City and RB Leipzig are also all monitoring developments with the Turk, who is said to be available for around £25million.
With the likes of Gary Cahill, Scott Dann, James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyaté all 30-years-old or older, there needs to be some new blood at the back. Many fans of the club were clearly very excited by these rumours, with one calling him a ‘beast’.
Kabak is only 20, and has already played six times for Turkey and 34 times in the Bundesliga (Transfermarkt). Therefore this could be a great acquisition for Palace as he looks to have the potential to become a strong experienced top division defender.
