Many Crystal Palace fans are raving over a beautiful team goal scored by the U23 side in a rollercoaster of a match in Premier League 2 against Sunderland.
The club posted footage of the opening goal scored by the young Eagles, which involved 19 passes before the ball found the back of the net.
The match was full of entertainment as the south London outfit came away with the three points. However, it was not easy as they won 4-3, with Sunderland equalising on two separate occasions.
With the senior squad going out with a whimper in a 1-0 loss to Burnley on Monday night, this video has been a breath of fresh air, with one supporter saying: ‘Outstanding goal, patience paid off.’
The result means that the U23 side sit fifth in Premier League 2 Division 2, and this is great news as it means they currently lie in a promotion Play-off spot.
