Many Crystal Palace fans are loving a photo posted by the club on Twitter which breaks down the statistics behind Jordan Ayew’s great performance away to Brighton on Monday night.
The South London side won the fixture 2-1, (SofaScore) and it can definitely be called a smash and grab as they scored from their only two shots on target, whilst Brighton had 25 attempts in total. One fan below hailed Ayew as an ‘absolute baller’.
The Ghanian’s brilliant performance did not go under the radar as Sky Sports awarded him the Man of the Match. It is easy to see why, as the forward was brilliant in both defence and attack. He managed one assist, made four tackles, won four fouls and had 38 touches (@CPFC).
He was definitely a vital component in making sure the Eagles picked up the three points and now the club and supporters can be a bit less fearful of the relegation zone and start to look at the teams above them as they are only four points from eighth.
