Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to praise their goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey for being awarded the Player of the Month for November.
The Welsh international has been in sensational form for The Eagles, particularly in a testing month whereby Roy Hodgson’s men had a string of tough fixtures. Palace played Everton, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United in consecutive Premier League fixtures throughout November in what was a huge month for the goalkeeper.
While The Eagles have not come out of that run of fixtures in the best position in the league, now in 16th, Hennessey did himself no harm with his performances, especially his recent showing against Man United at Old Trafford to earn his side a 0-0 draw.
While the majority of fans were quick to compliment the player, one fan did mention that it says something about a club when their ‘keeper wins player of the month. However, that may be more of a reflection of the fixture list rather than the club.
