Crystal Palace supporters have been keeping an eye on loaned-out striker Alexander Sorloth, with heavy debate occurring on social media as to whether the player has a future at the club. However, his latest Instagram post seems to show that he has his mind focused on his football at the moment.
Yesterday, it was reported that Sorloth has terminated his contract with Trabzonspor, according to BBO Sports via Palace Xtra. However, his Instagram post told a different story as it showed an image of him playing for the Turkish side, with the caption, ‘🔜 Süper Lig’.

Sorloth struggled in his time at Crystal Palace, with the Norwegian yet to score in England since he joined the Eagles in January 2018, per Transfermarkt. However, in Turkey it has been a completely different story as he has arguably found his level, scoring 23 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions this season, via WhoScored.
There have been many rumours in the past around the player; Fanatik suggested he could go for around £22m, with the same media outlet reporting that Liverpool were keeping tabs on the player as well as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Sevilla.
For now, he seems clearly focused on the resumption of the Turkish Super Lig season, and it doesn’t look like he will be returning to Palace anytime soon.
