A number of Crystal Palace fans have been sharing their love for Eberechi Eze on social media after a story emerged on Twitter regarding the 22-year-old.

Eze has been a regular under Roy Hodgson in an impressive first season in the top flight, missing just two Premier League games to date in the current campaign.

@GilesyL14 shared a post on Eze on Thursday evening, where a Facebook user claimed the attacking midfielder has been quietly helping with foodbank drop-offs.

Eze, on £30,000-a-week, has been dropping off hot meals to people in need on any Sunday he has available.

The story, which is available to view in full here, also added that Eze turned up to help out with a cracked windscreen after a ball hit his vehicle at Palace’s training ground.
