West Brom have identified Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson as a possible successor to Sam Allardyce, according to The Sun.

As to be expected, a number of Eagles fans have been giving their thoughts to the link on social media.

Hodgson’s Selhurst Park deal expires in a matter of weeks, with Palace expected to part ways with the 73-year-old at the end of the current campaign.

According to The Sun (14th May 22:39), Hodgson has no intention of retiring from management. They claimed that, if Allardyce quits The Hawthorns, the Baggies have already placed Hodgson on their radar as a potential successor.

Hodgson spent 15 months as West Brom boss before taking the England job in 2012, and a return to the Midlands could well be on the cards.
