Crystal Palace appears to be the most likely destination for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard this summer.
That’s according to Ryan Taylor of The Daily Express, whose Twitter update on Friday evening had a lot of Eagles fans talking.
The Telegraph linked Palace with a swoop for Edouard earlier in the week, and Taylor believes that Selhurst Park could be the Frenchman’s next move before the end of the window, with the Hoops wanting £15m.
Would you take Edouard at Palace?
Yes, all day!
No, can do better!
The 23-year-old is into the final 12 months of his Parkhead contract and has been working on a transfer after a move to Leicester City collapsed. He has been a regular under new manager Ange Postecoglou, though, scoring in a 6-0 win over St Mirren on Saturday.
Palace want to bolster Patrick Vieira’s squad with two new forwards before the end of the month, and it seems as if a swoop for Edouard may well have legs.
Palace fans react
“Another reliable one trying to stay calm”
“Great signing for that much I’d say, especially if it prevents that Mateta obligation”
“Surely that’s a bargain if true”
“I WANNA I WANNA I WANNA BE EDOUARDDDDDDDDD”
