Our Sunderland fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling fairly content with the steady start their side has made to proceedings this season.
The men from the Stadium of Light are certainly one of those sides that could challenge for promotion or end up battling all season as has been the massive upheaval at the club this summer.
However, they do still have some good players in their squad and Simon Grayson is a handy manager to have in charge so their early draw with Derby and win over Bury in the League Cup should give them something to build on.
Indeed, the win yesterday against Bury highlighted the talent that some of the players have with George Honeyman putting in a fine display in the centre of the park.
It could be a big season for the young star and, after tweeting about the result, he certainly received plenty of praise:
