Manchester United fans here in the Tavern are over the moon with the form shown over the last month, as one player, in particular, had a huge part to play in this success.

The Red Devils were thought to have choked in their attempt for a top-four place after suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Spurs, but these worries were soon put to bed as Jose Mourinho’s side steamrolled past Huddersfield Town with a 2-0 victory at the weekend.

Indeed, the efforts of Manchester United clawing their way clear of the trailing top-four contingent has been hugely down to one player, as Anthony Martial has been sensational ever since the Portuguese manager decided to reward him with regular starts in the side. And, it’s safe to say that all of the Frenchman’s hard work has gifted him almost immediate rewards, as he was crowned Manchester United’s Player of the Month after a successful January that’d brought him two goals and two assists.

Of course, Manchester United took to their Twitter account to notify fans on their choice to gift Anthony Martial with the Player of the Month award for January.
