Our Wolves fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted with the start their club has made to the season and you can certainly understand why that is the case.
The men from Molineux have had a superb start to the year with a 100% win record so far in the second tier.
Certainly, then, their big summer plans have worked out so far with Ruben Neves already catching the eye and manager Nuno Espirito Santo seemingly having already adapted to the league.
The Black Country side, then, could just go up as champions this season – though it is early days – and it seems as though the big spending is not over just yet.
Indeed, that is according to Tim Spiers on Twitter, at least, with him saying that a big money move for a striker is in the offing before the window shuts:
Wolves are prepared to spend big on a new striker, it is believed, in a change of tack on budget #wwfc https://t.co/5AYTqBaiCZ pic.twitter.com/lSYKmNNAk9

Fans, naturally, have reacted to this, then, and so here is the best of what has been said:
How much would Grant Holt cost outright though?…

If it’s not Oliveira, I’d expect it to be someone we’re not expecting. Fosun don’t seem to do “ok” players

Is Callum Wilson fit? If so I’d go for him.
The striker signing would have to have a proven record in our leagues for me!— Lee Gill (@LeeMGill) 17 August 2017

we need another quality centre midfielder too, if Neves or Saiss get injured we lack quality apart from Ronan.
