Manchester United could look to strengthen their attack in the summer after spending much of January in search of a new forward addition.
The Red Devils signed Odion Ighalo on deadline day in January but, since his loan deal expires at the end of the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may look to add another reinforcement. The Express report that Wolves’ Diogo Jota, 23, is a target of the Old Trafford outfit, suggesting that a £50m bid could be launched in order to make the signing a reality.
Jota has made an excellent adjustment to life in England and has excelled in the Premier League and the Europa League in the past 18 months, scoring a hat-trick against Espanyol on Thursday to evidence that. However, prior to today, he had only managed three goals in 18 Premier League starts this term, which shows his form has dropped somewhat, and considering the price being reported, it would perhaps be a risk for United to bring him in.

That could be one of the reasons why some fans hold doubts about this possible signing, though the reaction to the news has been mixed, as evidenced below.
Would be a great move. Think of Mane when he left Southampton for liverpool.

Rather have Jimenez as we need another striker.

Be good to have someone more consistent than having to rely on Martials half hearted performances.

He wouldn’t improve United single handedly but will be a Fabulous addition and will definitely add as a crafty player

We don’t need him. He’s an average player. https://t.co/N2Zt0rjqdp
