Chelsea supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern are delighted at the news they have just read on the Blues’ official website – with the club confirming that talented midfielder Ramires has signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder has signed a deal until the summer of 2019, and our resident Blues fans are thrilled with this news!
The 5ft 11 midfielder has been with the London club since 2010, and he has amassed a plethora of appearances for the club – and one Chelsea fan over by the pool table here in the Tavern, feels that this will give the whole club a much needed boost!
Our landlord over by the bar feels this is a step in the right direction for Mourinho’s struggling side, and thinks Ramires’ tenacity and determination, make him an excellent player to have in and around the first-team.
