Metro have Manchester United fans looking elated here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they claim that the Red Devils have won the race to sign PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay.
The Dutch international is once again set to link up with Louis van Gaal and despite heavy links with Liverpool, United have now confirmed that the deal will go ahead subject to a medical and have announced the impending transfer on their official twitter page.
The deal will cost the club £22.4 million and the majority of regular in the Tavern seem to think that it is a steal and that Louis van Gaal has landed himself one hell of a player ahead of a busy summer transfer window.
