Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see who their new manager is going to be with us still no nearer actually finding out.
The men from Elland Road saw last season disappoint eventually after they missed out on the play-offs and Garry Monk’s departure certainly wasn’t in the script either.
Even so, the base is still there for the club to have a good 2017/18 and now all it needs is a new manager to help build on that foundation.
Who comes in, though, remains to be seen and in the meantime Elland Road is instead going to play host to a Michael Jackson tribute act.
Leeds fans, then, have reacted rather comically to this as they wait for an appointment and so here is the reaction to the announcement on Twitter:
