The Crystal Palace fans who are present here in the Transfer Tavern were mightily impressed with their team this past week as they enhanced their chances of staying in the Premier League with a comprehensive 3-0 win over a hapless Arsenal side.
It was drinks all round for the Palace faithful following such a quality win and the landlord even stayed open an extra hour to allow the club’s loyal supporters the chance to celebrate such a big win in style.
Some days on from that win some of the Palace supporters are still feeling a little bit worse for wear and they are in the Tavern trying to nurse their hangovers ahead of today’s game with reigning champions Leicester City.
Our landlord has been weighing-up Palace’s survival chances and he thinks they will stay up with ease on current form. He had a look at two players who could face the axe from this weekend’s team.
Luka Milivojevic

The 26-year-old Serbian player scored in Monday’s win over Arsenal but he could face being placed on the bench for this weekend’s game with Leicester City.
One Palace fan is sat in the Tavern’s beer garden basking in the early morning sunshine and he thinks that Mathieu Flamini could be a better option this afternoon, against a Leicester City side who look to play on the counter attack.
Jason Puncheon

The Palace winger hasn’t been in bad form of late but he could be given a reprieve from starting in the team this weekend and may take a place on the bench instead.
One Palace fan is chatting to our landlord on this fine Saturday morning and he believes that Puncheon is a fantastic player, but does concede that Big Sam could change shape against the Foxes, which might see Puncheon miss out.
