The Chelsea supporters who were watching their team in action on the Transfer Tavern’s big screen last weekend were astonished to see their team throw away a one goal lead to lose 2-1 to a Crystal Palace side who were full of energy and panache.

It threw a big spanner in the works of the Blues’ title push, although with Manchester City dropping points the defeat could have been a whole lot worse for Antonio Conte and his team.

This weekend Chelsea face Eddie Howe’s attractive Bournemouth side and they will hope to get right back on track and cement their place at the summit of the Barclays Premier League.
