Bolton boss Owen Coyle is hoping to sign three players this week to boost his threadbare squad, according to the Mirror.
Coyle is chasing the signatures of Liverpool striker David N’Gog and Manchester City pair Shaun Wright-Phillips and Dedryck Boyata.
With Wednesday’s transfer deadline looming the Trotters manager is desperate to get the deals done as quickly as possible.
Both N’Gog and Wright-Phillips have been on Coyles hit list for most of the summer whilst Boyata is a relatively new addition.
The loss of Johan Elmander on a free transfer has made signing a striker Coyle’s number one priority with N’Gog his first choice.
Kenny Dalglish has told the Frenchman he can leave Anfield and could move to the Reebok Stadium for £4 million.
Coyle also needs a winger after losing Chung Yong-Lee for the season and spoke to Wright-Phillips about £2 million move when Bolton and City met on Sunday.
The prospect of linking up with friends Zat Knight and Nigel Reo-Coker appealed to the England winger with the club prepared to pay him £2 million-a-year to join the Trotters.
Boyata is a little more complicated with Everton, Blackburn and West Brom all chasing the Belgian.
The 20-year-old has been told he is free to go out on loan to gain some experience and Coyle has a fight on his hands to persuade him to join him at Bolton.
Interest in the centre half is likely to fuel speculation that he is being signed as a short-term replacement for Gary Cahill who has been touted with a move to Arsenal.
