However, after the news has broken that Mesut Ozil has extended his contract with the club and new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan looking set for a full debut, life at the Emirates is looking pretty rosy now. Many of the regulars will be expecting a big push from Arsenal to gain Champions League qualification, and they need it after missing out this season for the first time under Wenger.

LAM: Mesut Ozil

The German assist king should be buoyed by his new contract signing this week. Arsenal are a stronger and more creative team with him in it and Wenger will be ecstatic to have secured him on a long-term basis.

Ozil makes the Gunners tick and with his eye for a defence-splitting pass, anything is possible for the frontman to achieve. He can also interlink with the opposite flank and our punters believe that this has the beginnings of an attack that can replicate Liverpool’s dangerous front-three

CF: Alexandre Lacazette

The Frenchman has final audition to show Wenger what he can bring to the table, the striker needs a big performance following the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this week.

If Lacazette is to have a future at the Emirates, then tonight he needs to show what he can do in front of goal or risk losing his place altogether to the Gabon striker. With two of the greatest assist machines behind him, the forward will have no better opportunity to shine.

RAM: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The midfielder should complete the three attackers that look likely to destroy any defence in the Premier League. Although Miki will have to wait to reunite his deadly partnership with his former Borussia Dortmund teammate, the Armenian will be out their to impress bosses old and new.

Also with his ability to interchange positions, this should cause a major headache for the Everton defence.
