Many Everton fans have reacted to Andre Gomes’ entrance into his FIFA Premier League Invitational game with Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Football is currently postponed due to the recent pandemic, and that has led football clubs and players to engage with fans through various different avenues, including tournaments via FIFA 20.
Portuguese midfielder Gomes advanced to the quarter-final stage of a latest ‘Invitational’ held by the Premier League which sees professional players represent their clubs.
Gomes convincingly beat Chelsea star Reece James 8-0 to advance to the next round, to set up a challenge against experienced player Raheem Sterling.
The former Barcelona man, who suffered a horrific leg injury towards the back end of last year, shared a video via his official Twitter account of himself entering his living room to prepare to face the City winger.
