Fabrizio Romano has given an exciting Everton January transfer update on Sami Khedira, Robin Olsen and Bernard.
Replying to a fan on Twitter, the Italian football journalist and transfer guru has revealed that the Goodison Park faithful want to keep Olsen “for sure”, while there is nothing from AS Roma with regards to their pursuit of Bernard at the moment. He also added “let’s see” when asked whether Carlo Ancelotti will opt to sign Khedira this month or not.
Khedira would be a shrewd signing
Khedira would be a shrewd signing given that the defensive midfield player has won both the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA World Cup with both Real Madrid and Germany respectively (Transfermarkt), and as such, he would bring so much experience as well as a winning mentality both on and off the pitch to the Merseyside club.

Ancelotti may know how to get the best out of the 33-year-old too, given that he played in 35 matches under the Italian boss over all competitions in two consecutive seasons in the Spanish capital, scoring one goal and making one assist (Transfermarkt).
Would be wise to keep Olsen and Bernard
It would be wise by the Toffees to sign Olsen on a permanent deal from AS Roma to give some much-needed competition to Jordan Pickford, while Bernard is a decent squad player to have around for the Blues.
