Everton fans have been reacting to the news that striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on the verge of signing a new five-year contract at Goodison Park, according to The Telegraph.

The 22-year-old has been in scintillating form after scoring three goals in his past two Premier League games, taking his tally up to eight for the current campaign.
The Telegraph revealed that both Calvert-Lewin and Everton have been in discussion for the past six months and say that an agreement is close, with his wages set to rise to between £70,000 and £75,000-per-week.
This comes after the Blues’ forward was linked with a £50m move to Manchester United, with the Red Devils believed to have placed him on their ‘Most Wanted’ list.
