Everton: Fans blast Abdoulaye Doucoure versus Leeds United

Share

Plenty of Everton fans have been blasting Abdoulaye Doucoure for his very poor display versus Leeds United in the Premier League.

The Merseyside club lost the game 1-0 at Goodison Park to Marcelo Bielsa’s side thanks to a goal from their new summer recruit Raphinha late on in the second half.

There were not many standout performers for the right reasons for Carlo Ancelotti’s side at all, but Doucoure had one of his worst matches for the Toffees since his arrival from relegated Watford in the summer transfer window.

The central midfield player lost possession of the ball no fewer than 13 times in the clash, and he did not manage to record a single successful dribble, clearance, interception, key pass, cross or accurate long ball, earning him a pretty low 6.2 rating on Sofascore, the lowest out of any player to have set foot onto the pitch.
