Loads of Everton fans have been left buzzing as Italian football journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has said in response to an EFC supporter on his official Twitter page that Ben Godfrey is coming to Goodsion Park from Norwich City.
Indeed, The Times journalist Paul Joyce has also claimed that a transfer fee has been agreed between both clubs worth £25 million plus add-ons, as Godfrey looks set to move to Merseyside pending a successful medical.

Despite the relegation of the Canaries to the EFL Championship at the end of the 2019/20 term, the 22-year old actually averaged more clearances, blocks and passes than Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in the Premier League, according to Whoscored, showing that he is capable of slotting straight into the team under Carlo Ancelotti.
