Plenty of Everton fans have been buzzing as Lucas Digne committed his future to the Merseyside club after he spoke to their limited-edition match day programme ahead of their Premier League home game at Goodison Park against Dean Smith’s Aston Villa.
As per the official website of the Toffees, the left-back says that he wants to carry on with the project under Carlo Ancelotti, even adding that they can reach European football soon.

However, he admitted that are stumbling blocks in the way at the moment, such as the youthfulness of the squad and the time that will be needed to get them to where they want to be, but suggested that Ancelotti is the man to drive them forward.
Indeed, Digne has been a key player for the Blues in the Premier League so far in the 2019/20 season, making seven assists and creating eight big chances while also averaging 2.2 key passes per game, according to Sofascore.
