A throwback video of Romelu Lukaku’s 2015 performance against West Ham has got loads of Everton fans buzzing.
This time five years ago, the Toffees were celebrating a well-earned win over the Irons in the 2014/15 Premier League season (via BBC Sport). Everton fought their way back from a 1-0 deficit after Stewart Downing gave his side the lead.

An equaliser from Lean Osman and a header at the death by Lukaku sealed all three points for the travelling Blues. The Belgian’s 93rd minute winner marked his sixth goal in six games against West Ham, a record which meant he had scored during every meeting with the East London outfit at the time.

The club’s official Twitter has posted a throwback video of Lukaku’s goal, and fans are flocking to relive the moment at Upton Park. One supporter has said the day was ‘superb’ whilst another is wondering if Everton are going to re-sign the Belgian striker…
