Everton icon Wayne Rooney has tweeted that he enjoyed watching the club’s documentary Everton, Howard’s Way and many fans were delighted with him over it.
The film tells the story of the Toffees’ success during the 1980s and Rooney has responded saying ‘Loved watching my old coach Colin Harvey and the Everton team of the 80s’.

All proceeds from sales of the Everton, Howard’s Way documentary will go towards clubs charity Everton in the Community’s plans to build a facility for those who need help and advice with their mental health. The site will be established on Spellow Lane – just across from Goodison Park – and will take the name ‘The People’s Place’ after Liverpool City Council granted planning permission earlier this month.
