2019 has been a year of change at Everton with the recent arrival of Carlo Ancelotti in the Toffees dugout.

Everton’s final two games of the year were taken under the control of the former Champions League winner, who has helped the side to successive victories over Burnley and Newcastle United to enter the new year with a perfect record.
Perhaps expecting fans to be in a positive mood off the back of their impressive recent form, Everton’s official Twitter account asked their fans to discuss their highlights of the previous 12 months – though not all responders took to the task seriously.
Instead, some supporters opted for sarcasm, while others gave honourable mentions to those who may have been forgotten in the wake of Ancelotti’s promising early spell – including Duncan Ferguson, the club’s Twitter admin and a cat.
