Everton fans were congratulating striker Richarlison yesterday after he revealed that he had passed his English exams.
The Brazilian has been learning the language since moving to the Premier League and has often kept fans up to date with his progress on Twitter.
He continued to do so on Thursday night when he posted a message – somewhat ironically in Portuguese – that he had received positive results, to cap a decent week for the 22-year-old after scoring the opener in the Toffees’ 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend.
Everton fans, as well as supporters from his time in Brazil, offered their congratulations to the ex-Watford forward for his achievement, with some Toffees supporters backing their man to continue his goalscoring form off the back of getting to grips with the locals’ language.
