Everton: Fans debate potential £50m options for Carlo Ancelotti this summer

Many Everton fans have debated the potential arrival of a £50m player this summer with Jack Grealish among the names mentioned.

Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti will embark on his first summer transfer window with the club after taking over from Marco Silva in December and it is expected that the former AC Milan and Real Madrid man will put his own stamp on the squad at Goodison Park.

Everton sit 12th in the Premier League table as things stand after a largely inconsistent season so far, and Ancelotti will be expected to turn things around next term and push the club to take on the top six.

A number of players have already been linked with moves to the Merseyside club, including Aston Villa playmaker Grealish, who has arguably had his best season with his boyhood club.

With interest in Grealish, it is seemingly obvious that Ancelotti is keen to bring in a new creative player, and that could lead to further links of a move for Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia.

With Grealish and Buendia’s names mentioned in the same breath as Everton of late, another name has also emerged in Jonathan Ikone, who has been superb for Lille this season.
