Plenty of Everton fans have exploded in delight after news broke that Richarlison will return to the squad to face Watford on Saturday.
The Brazilian has missed the last two games after suffering a knee injury, but he has been in first-team training all week and looks to be in line to face his former side. His return to the fold will be a timely boost for Carlo Ancelotti after reports suggested that the club turned down an £85m offer from Barcelona for the Brazil international.
The Italian tactician intends to build his squad around Richarlison and does not have any intentions of letting him go, as per the Liverpool Echo. He looks on course to beat his Premier League goalscoring tally from last season after scoring eight goals from 22 games, and he already has eight during the current campaign, as per TransferMarkt. As an essential asset to the squad, supporters were understandably delighted. One fan said his return will provide some relief for his midfield teammates, while another was grateful that he would be back in the side.
