Many Everton fans have been destroying Alex Iwobi after his display versus Liverpool in the Merseyside derby was pretty underwhelming.
In the 0-0 draw against Jurgen Klopp’s team, the attacking player failed to make a single key pass in the whole match, and also did not manage to put one cross into the box despite playing out wide, according to Sofascore.
The 24-year old recorded the second fewest touches out of his teammates in the starting 11, only recording more than youngster Anthony Gordon, and achieved an overall rating of 6.7, the second worst in his team, as per the website.

It is perhaps safe to say that Iwobi has failed to make his mark at Goodison Park since his big money move from Arsenal, having scored just two goals and made one assist in 23 games in all competitions so far in the 2019/20 season (via Transfermarkt).
The derby would have given him a chance to prove himself on the big stage, but the Nigerian international arguably did not show his money’s worth.
