Recent comments on the links between Kalidou Koulibaly and Everton have got these Blues fans divided.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has given his thoughts on the Merseyside outfit’s rumoured interest in the Napoli defender and believes Carlo Ancelotti has something exciting unfolding.

“The future of Koulibaly? I sincerely hope that he stays [at Napoli] because he is a great player,” said the 46-year-old journalist (via @TheGwladysSt). “But you have to wonder, especially Ancelotti’s Everton, who wants to build a great team.”
According to Gazetta Dello Sport (via HITC), the Toffees are keen on the Senegalese powerhouse, with the manager eager to be reunited with his former player. However, the centre-back would set Everton back a hefty £90 million if they are to pursue a move for him (via The Times), and bitter rivals Liverpool are reportedly leading the race for his signature.

Blues fans have responded to Di Marzio’s comments, with one supporter branding it a ‘slam dunk transfer window’ if the club is able to prise him from Napoli. However, others are sceptical that the Toffees will be able to sign the Senegalese ace.
