Some Everton fans have been fuming at the decision by Carlo Ancelotti to leave out Anthony Gordon versus Manchester United in the Premier League.
Indeed, as per the official Twitter page of the Goodison Park faithful, Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Gylfi Sigurdsson, James Rodriguez and Bernard all started for the Merseyside club, with Gordon not even making the bench for the Toffees ahead of other midfielders like Andre Gomes and Tom Davies.

With just three appearances for the Blues so far in the 2020/21 term, including just one in the top flight, perhaps some EFC supporters think that the England U20 international is not getting enough opportunities under Ancelotti.

The 19 year-old has plenty to offer, as he scored seven goals and made a further four assists in 24 games in all competitions in the last season – although many of those came in youth football (Transfermarkt).

These fans fumed at Ancelotti’s decision to omit him from the squad, as they perhaps feel as if the winger could have contributed to a win against the Red Devils:
