Everton: Fans fume at Theo Walcott’s wasteful performance vs Norwich

Loads of Everton fans have been laying into the performance of Theo Walcott, after the Toffees fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Norwich on Saturday afternoon.

The Canaries piled more misery onto Marco Silva on Saturday, rocking up to Goodison Park and leaving with three points without ever really breaking a sweat.

The home fans were left baffled by something Silva said after the match, as he admitted a lack of pace really hurt his team, but it was one of the fastest players on the pitch who is getting lots of the stick.

It’s fair to say Walcott has been a flop since joining under Sam Allardyce, mustering up just nine goals in 66 appearances for the club.

And while he wasn’t the only one to disappoint on Saturday, his wastefulness in possession really caught the eye, as he gave the ball away a whopping 20 times, per Sofascore.

Only Lucas Digne (28) and Kenny McLean (30) can better (or worsen) that number, and unsurprisingly fans were not happy with the England international’s display.
